Darkest Suburbia...and Beyond!

Note: you did well to avoid Happy feet -- gads it was painful -- as the mother of a small I've seen more animated movies (animal and humans alike) in the last decade than I can shake a stick at -- of those, Ice Age actually stands out as a decent "buddy" or, more accurately "On the Road" flick (yes, I *am* referring to Crosby/Hope). Madagascar's biggest plus is that it's a movie you can stand to see more than once if you've got a kid (or niece/nephew) of the right age -- it's ok -- it's no Ice Age ;>.
