Posting from Exile, as my PC is in the shop for system recovery -- some unknown device driver was apparently allergic to WinXP Service Pack 2 (no gloating or prosyletizing from the Mac gallery, please and thank you), and then the system somehow lost its "Connect to" module such that it couldn't find its way online. An attempt to do System Restore derailed into a "Windows Won't Boot" issue, possibly complicated by the internal hardware running hot.
So I am mostly offline for the next couple of days. So not what I needed with deadlines looming....
