It was probably inevitable; I have now been assimilated by the Twitterverse.  I may be found here, slowly accumulating a Tweet-stream.

Eventually, I may actually compose a tweet....

Is there going to be an actual class reunion this year?

I've seen and heard nothing to suggest one.

My suspicion, based to some extent on my parents' experience, is that those who've been doing the organizing are currently thinking in ten-year cycles, so that we are likely to get a 40-year and a 50-year event, but not a 35th or a 45th. OTOH, my parents' high-school classes have both done events annually since their 50th years, and our mutual collegiate alma mater also does annual events at 50 years and up.

And I do have a college reunion weekend coming up this fall, but that's because they schedule a three-year class block all at once.
