My local coffee shop has the same sign. The general store/book shop that closed three years ago had a store dog name Yeti--yes she was that big--and a sign that unattended children would be fed to the fire breathing dragon. Everytime a child walked in Yeti stood up, paws the size of dinner plates on the counter, and peered curiously at said child. Needless to say the owner had very few problems with kids running amuck.

Gotta love it! There's nothing like badly-behaved children to set your teeth on edge...and I love kids!
